Rolex Daytona Paul Newman Ref. 6241 - "Very good" condition - Beautiful dial - Watch only

This Rolex Daytona, reference 6241, has the “Paul Newman” dial: black with cream sub-dials, square-tipped markers and the red “Daytona” arched above the hour counter, framed by a cream outer track with red accents. The dial is in beautiful condition and its lume plots have a warm, even tone. The watch is offered in very good condition, as the watch only, without box and papers, in a steel case on a steel bracelet.

The 6241 was made in the second half of the 1960s and differs from the 6239 by its black acrylic bezel insert with tachymeter scale; like the 6239, it has pump pushers. Its hand-wound movement is based on the Valjoux 72, with running seconds at nine o'clock, a 30-minute counter at three and a 12-hour counter at six, in a 37 mm case.
