This Omega Speedmaster Skeleton Limited Edition, reference 3696.50.01, from 1994, comes in yellow gold with a skeletonised dial that opens the view onto the gilt, engraved movement. It sits on a black leather strap with a gold-coloured pin buckle, comes as a full set with box and papers and is offered in very good condition.
The Speedmaster line goes back to 1957 and became known as the watch worn on the Moon in 1969. This skeleton version keeps the chronograph layout with three subdials and the black tachymeter bezel, but replaces the solid dial with an open view of the manually wound chronograph movement. The 42 mm gold case carries the pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock with the crown between them. A gold Speedmaster chronograph with skeletonised dial, made as a limited edition.
