This Audemars Piguet Quantième Perpétuel Skeleton, reference 25558BA, is a perpetual calendar in yellow gold with an openworked dial and movement, gold hands and blued hands on the subdials, on a black leather strap. It is offered in very good condition with an extract from the Audemars Piguet archives.

Through the skeletonised dial the wheels and bridges of the movement are visible, framed by the calendar displays: the day at 9 o'clock, the month at 12 o'clock, the date at 3 o'clock and the moon phase with the age of the moon at 6 o'clock. A perpetual calendar allows for the different lengths of the months and for leap years, so it needs no correction from month to month. A yellow-gold perpetual calendar in which the movement becomes part of the dial.
