Rolex Day-Date Ref. 18948 - "Very good" condition - German fullset

This Rolex Day-Date, reference 18948, has a champagne computer dial and dates from 2005. It is a German full set, delivered new in Germany, with box, papers and all accessories.

The 18948 belongs to Rolex's lesser-known "Masterpiece" line, an even more luxurious take on the Day-Date. Its 18K yellow gold case measures 39 mm instead of the classic 36 mm, and it has a factory-set diamond bezel. The champagne "computer" dial is a collector favourite. Its fine engine-turned pattern, reminiscent of a printed circuit board, catches the light from every angle and gives the dial a depth a plain finish can't match. The watch sits on the exclusive Pearlmaster bracelet, whose rounded, highly polished links feel almost like jewellery on the wrist.

Inside is Rolex's automatic calibre 3155, with day and date at 12 and 3 o'clock and double quickset for easy setting.
