Rolex Day-Date 36 Ref. 1803 - "Very good" condition - Unpolished - Buckley dial

This Rolex Day-Date, reference 1803, comes in yellow gold with the fluted bezel and the President bracelet, and is offered unpolished in very good condition. Its cream Buckley dial carries blue Roman numerals and blue hands, and the day disc names the weekday in Spanish.

The 1803 was the Day-Date of the 1960s and 1970s and, like every Day-Date, was made only in precious metal. The 36 mm Oyster case has a screw-down crown and an acrylic crystal with the Cyclops lens over the date, and inside is a self-winding chronometer movement. The day, written out in full, appears in the arched window at 12 o'clock, as on the first Day-Date of 1956. The Buckley dial, with its Roman numerals, is one of the classic dials of this reference.
