This is an A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1, reference 101.025, in 950 platinum. It is offered as watch only, in excellent condition.

The Lange 1 was one of the four founding models when Walter Lange and Günter Blümlein revived A. Lange & Söhne in 1994. It has since become the quintessential Lange and the purest expression of Glashütte watchmaking. The platinum 101.025 with its silver-grey dial is nicknamed “Stealth” by collectors for its monochrome, understated look, and it is one of the most sought-after versions of the Lange 1. The asymmetrical dial layout follows the golden ratio. The centres of the time display, small seconds and date form a triangle, a masterpiece of industrial design. Around it sit Lange’s famous outsize date at 1 o’clock and the “Auf/Ab” (up/down) power reserve indicator. The 38.5 mm platinum case gives the watch a satisfying weight on the wrist.

Through the sapphire caseback you can see the hand-wound calibre L901.0. It has twin barrels for around 72 hours of power reserve and a three-quarter plate with Glashütte ribbing, with chamfering and anglage done by hand.
