A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Ref. 206.021 - "Very good" condition - Watch only

This is an A. Lange & Söhne 1815, reference 206.021, in 18K yellow gold. It is offered as watch only, without box or papers, in very good condition.

The 1815 is named after the birth year of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, who founded German precision watchmaking in Glashütte. The 206.021 belongs to the first generation of the 1815, made from 1995 to 2008, the early years after the brand's rebirth. It is a pure, classic dress watch. The 35.9 mm yellow gold case is only 7.5 mm thick. The silvered dial has black Arabic numerals, a railway minute track, small seconds at 6 o'clock and blued steel hands, a design taken straight from historic Lange pocket watches.

Through the sapphire caseback you can see the hand-wound Lange calibre L941.1, finished to the highest Glashütte standards. It has a hand-engraved balance cock, a swan-neck fine adjustment and a balance with gold regulating screws, with around 45 hours of power reserve.

A timeless, understated Lange from the brand's early years. At this size it suits almost any wrist, and the watch-only set makes it an attractive way into the world of A. Lange & Söhne.
