WEITERE INFORMATIONEN

Usually the Royal Day-Date is synonymous with its bracelet - the president bracelet. Very rarely, Rolex produced Day-Date references with other bracelet variations. And there is just a single reference produced with the Rolex Jubilee bracelet made of two tone gold - ref. 18349BIC. Normally made of either steel or steel/gold, the jubilee bracelet for this reference was made of white gold and yellow gold with the yellow gold parts completely factory set with 218 (3,45k) of diamonds. Also this jubilee bracelet was the first to feature the ‘hidden clasp’ known from the president bracelet. Moreover the bezel as well as the dial have been factory set with diamonds. This reference was insanely unique and one of the most rare and most expensive models you could order at Rolex at the time. To put this into perspective: The prices in Germany at the time for a Daytona ref. 16520 were 5.750DM, a usual Day-Date 18238 was 21.750DM, while the ref. 18439BIC came at a staggering 74.475DM (!!) list price without any added extras. The overall list price on this piece would be around 120kCHF in 2002.
While this watch was already ultra special and a proper rarity at the time of its production, the watch obviously ended up to be incredibly rare and almost unknown on today's market. For the collectors that are aware of it, this is a proper endlevel piece for the collection.
Given this history and taking into account that Rolex does not produce any comparable or equally special models anymore at all, Day-Dates like these have really, really high potential and are to be considered ultimate investment pieces
Additionally: The condition is superb and the watch comes with Box and Papers.
