It was the first Patek powered by an in-house self-winding chronograph movement. The 5960\/1A launched in 2014 in stainless steel on a matching steel bracelet, which is unusual for Patek, and it replaced the gold and platinum versions. The 40.5 mm polished steel case pairs with a silvery opaline dial and blackened gold hands and hour markers for crisp contrast. Three apertures under 12 o’clock show the day, date and month. A single counter at 6 o’clock combines the chronograph minutes and hours.
